Hay, stone, some citrus fruit, roundness and plushness of Chardonnay, could use a bit more acidity and liveliness. Well integrated at this point though and drinking well.

Crisp apple, lime, and beautiful minerality. This is a stunning value buy from my wine club allocation at Blanc and Rouge Wine Shop (Snohomish, WA, USA). I just wish I had some meaty raw oysters to pair with it. USA Importer: Vineyard Brands- Birmingham, AL Buy again.

Bought for 27e from the chalk board of a local good-value gourmet restaurant in urban France. Best Wine-searcher Pro is about 10e across available vintages and 10.5e for the '16 (both in FR). Good light gold color; white stone fruit with hint of oak; good mouthfeel, simple. Hope to do better in both restaurant and shop. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this drinkable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

Some plushness amidst a limestone citrus lemon-like backdrop with straw and hay...

Gourmet Traveller wine French Chardonnay (Winespace, Surry Hills): Bright lemon citrus, slightly unripe/wild stone fruit, butter, yoghurt, very slight oak. Juicy, tangy, slightly bitter finish. Hmm.
