Leather, balsamic, old books, very clean, no oxidation, very correct. Maybe a bit hot on the palate and lacking some concentration. But it’s very correct.

Decanted for 2hrs, showing slight development in color. Vinification in stainless steel, with maturation in 20% new French tonneaux 500l and the rest in used French and Slavonian oak. The wine reveals pure character with dried berries, lavender, soft and charming, rapped in medium body with medium to long finish.

Weekly tasting group RWP #267: Tuscany (@ JdB): In the bouquet red and dark berries, yoghurt, vanilla and some smoke. On the palate a firm amount of acidity, red berries, herbs and spices, lactic flavors and a firm amount of youthful tannin. Clean wine, but too young. Wait until 2022+. 90+

Sour cherry, celery stalks, tomato juice. Well balanced. Chianti, I’ve missed you! 90.
Another bottle, another day. Well, the intangibles just does it for me. 92.
Jan 19th., an observation. All corks seem to have a slight moldy taint to them. Can’t detect any obvious defects though.

Very high in acids, fruit is missing. Not in a pleasent state now.
