Nothing really to add to my November '17 note except to say that all 5 of my bottles have been consistent to that note up to the very last one tonight. Good QPR on these and very crowd-friendly as well. Pair it with uncomplicated Italian (/-American) fare like pizza, simple pastas, and sausage and peppers.

After UPS reported a broken bottle in transit and returned to Last Bottle, the remaining 5 have finally made their way back, just in time for casual pizza and calzone night.
Pretty dense and opaque coloring here, with edges showing more purple than ruby. Aromas of blue and black fruits, soil, violets, and graphite. Medium body, medium(+) acid, medium(-) finish, and flavors of blue and black fruits, lemon, orange, and tangerine citrus, and a notable mineral streak throughout. According to their website, this is "mostly dolcetto with barbera and nebbiolo," which explains the darker coloring and fruit profile. This works at $12 for pizza and such.
