Tasted over 2 days. Beautiful nose of black raspberry, currant, smoke, spice and minerals for days. More dark fruit, cherry cough drops, tar and wet rocks. Very smooth tannins provide substantial backbone and just enough acidity yet to cut through a good prime rib. On day two, less fruit and more pronounced tannins. The nose seems to have softened a bit too. Next bottle, I'll enjoy the hell out of it in Day 1.

Better than my last bottle. Tasting now like a middle of the road WA Syrah. Well made and dark and deep in fruit. A little muddy. I'm not getting the hype.

Needs at least 2 hours to open. Was still holding together on day two. In a good spot with a decant but also think this could improve with a bit more time.

(1hr decant) This is ok. Kinda just another black inky dense Syrah that offers little charm, nuance, or uniqueness. Additionally, nose is shy. Otherwise reasonably well balanced.
