Exceptionally good. A PN I would never get tired of. Nose of sandalwood, Asian spices, cherry, raspberry, and a touch of barnyard (which I loved). Palate follows the nose, with excellent acidity and fruit that is tart and fresh rather than ripe and jammy. Lovely herbal notes. Very elegant. I wish I had more. This may further improve over the next 5-8 yrs.

Winorama: A winter in Wineland II; 1/6/2018-1/14/2018 (Portland, Eureka, Napa): My wine of the tasting. This was just lovely. I liked the 2011's when they were first released a few years ago. This is still very young (although you can tell there is some age on it). More tannin. More spice. Lots of sandalwood. Drank next to the 2014 and there's some red fruit here as well, but nowhere near as pronounced. Very elegant.

Elegant and layered. Somewhat tart mid-palate (rhubarb) that settles into a smooth long finish. Great with slow roasted salmon.

Similar note to the last bottle. Still beautiful - I think it's in its prime drinking window.
