  Two hour decant. Deep dark intense magenta color. Chocolate, blackberry, strawberry filled Bismarck, and red currant. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate. Full, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.

  Did a 1 1/2 hour decant and tried first glass. Very young and tight. Alcohol forward with tannins on the front. The 2019 has structure that finally starts to evolve around the 2hr mark. Still complex but alcohol has burned off that lets the oak shine through. This wine will continue to get better over time.

  Deep garnet purple in color. Amazing nose of black and blue fruits and chocolate coated olive. Palate is full bodied ripe fruit polished tannins, and very nice finish. This wine brings beautiful richness and depth giving way to a core of cassis and spices plus a waft of chocolate box. Full-bodied, concentrated and packed with bright black fruits zestful finish and savory.

  I found this wine hard to drink. Heavy, syrupy, lacking freshness, alcoholic. Lots of phenolic material redeems the score. 88-90

  A really, really nice Cali Cab!! Drank half first night (better and better over the eve). 2nd night it had some reduction notes.
