Earthy redcurrant and caramel. Dried cherry and well incorporated dill. Fragrant forest floor. Still structured with mouthwatering acidity. The way the American oak has settled in is so cohesive. Incredible pure cherry note that just continues on the finish which builds through dried herbs and fig. Delicious and far more ready than Tondonia GR 01 based on the examples I've tried.

Consistent notes with my impression a little over two years ago. Rustic and brambly, although a bit more polish than the regular Bosconia. Intense on the palate, high acidity, and plenty of tertiary things going on like saddle leather.

Refined and red fruited, with a distinct dill note. Still has a rather fine firm tannic and acidic structure. Lengthy finish. Seamless from nose to finish--but still needs some time to develop that extra gear.

Open this wine on the same night as the tondonia gran Reserva. Sadly there was very little going on in this wine as well. Not sure if this was an off bottle or it is just in a dumb phase. I let the rest sit in a bottle for Sunday and it really wasn't any better. Came back to it yesterday and it was slightly better and actually tasted like wine I'll be it one that was probably a smidge past its prime. More enjoyable on day three than day one or two. Not sure what to think.

Tondonia Tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Cherries, dried red fruit, red currant, cocos, tobacco, cedar. Medium+ acidity, medium+ tannins, long finish. Elegant. 93+
