Opens very fruit punch like, but over the course of 2 hours, it develops more depth and more structure, to its benefit. The nose is light but borderline ethereal, and the wine, while quite structured, shows what seems to be classic Hirsch traits: roses, white pepper, a bit of soy, and earth. The length is also structured, and of a nice, medium duration.
Still, I wonder if the admittedly very nice fruit will outlast the structure.
