Best inexpensive Cal chard I've ever had. And I really haven't liked the other Blackjack Ranch Chards I've drunk. This one so surprised me. Tremendous value.

Memorial Day Weekend BBQ's; 5/27/2006-5/28/2006 (My place): Good quaffable warm-weather chard. Was hoping for a bit more substance and complexity to go with the tuna steaks, but still a nice wine.

Not over oaked or over buttered, in fact not a whole lot of anything. Balanced, but a little to restrained and not enough going on.
