Deep ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe black fruit with hints of lavender, smoked meat and graphite. The palate is full of intense black berry/currant/plum fruit with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and roasted meat. Very earthy, savory and lengthy finish. Velvety (Merlot-like) texture and dusty tannins. Extremely well balanced. Outstanding!

This was great. Brooding dark fruit, dark chocolate, subtle lavandin on the nose. Dark cherry, blackberry jam, and subtle herbaceous on the palate. This paired well with cab/cola braised short ribs. All really enjoyed.

Very good wine with the potential to reach 96 points with more time in the bottle. Aromatics we’re of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, anise and graphite. After a 2-hour decant, it was still a bit tight upon first sip. Paired with a buttery Ruth’s Chris steak, it opened up nicely with flavors of black cherry, raspberry and grippy tannins.

Big wine with lots of everything. Dark red fruit and vanilla on the nose, dark fruit on the palate, tannins present but refined. Awesome!
