Been two and a half years since I opened one. My last note was short…”ripe and exotic.” That still applies here, but not in a pejorative sense. The wine is harmonious and showing very well. There is still enough acidity to keep this from feeling fat. Finishes broad. Very good.

Third bottle from a 1/2 case purchased on auction. A pleasure to open and enjoy. How Ted Lemon's wines deftly walk the line between intensity and elegance is fascinating and thrilling. Drinking well now.

PnP. Medium deep yellow. Quite forward on the nose with some tropical fruit and citrus. On the palate this is much more advanced than the previous bottle (in a good way) with excellent sweet fruit and some minor (comparatively speaking) acidity. Quite atypical for Tributary which tends to be higher acid but don't think I have had one that is 8 years old. Time to drink up.

I hosted a chard shootout at my house in august. Five chards. Two ca. Two burg. One south Africa. This was pretty much everyone's 3rd fave. Just thin and lacking any oomph or complexity. I love the tributary so I'm not quite sure why this bottle didn't show well on that night.

Slightly oxidized and noticeably more golden in color than any other Littorai that I've ever had.
