Pausing for the Cause 2019 (Chicago, IL): This is a bit of a bruiser; not much elegance, and just a ton of weight to make up for it. The fruit is pretty sappy, and there isn't any of the reduction in vogue these days. It's an alright white Burgundy, but as a Montrachet, I'd really expect a lot more out of this.

Slow oxed for two hours. The wine tasted best towards the end. Overall consistent with previous note but the layers expressed itself better tonight. It lacked the finesse of a montrachet but the intensity was much appreciated tonight. 92+

Slow oxed for 4 hours. Nose had honey, custard, tropical fruit, caramel, and cinnamon. The fruit on the palate was ripe and oily. It was missing some elegance and intensity of a good montrachet to rate it a point or two higher.

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): This was very rich, almost too rich, alcoholic grapa style, not balanced.
