Out of a magnum, purchased on BerserkerDay. At PnP strong notes of mint leaf on the nose and palate. Put half the mag in a decanter, left the rest in bottle in the wine fridge. I've been sipping on this for the past 6 hours and it just keeps getting better. The 13.2% ABV has it light on its feet but make no mistake, it is not coming across as dilute. Plenty of complexity, starting to develop tertiary notes, and there is a nice long light tannic finish that goes on for days. Not sure how this would be in a 750ml, but in mag its in a great spot and there isn't any big rush to drink. I think my bottle coudl have gone on easily another 10 years before any meaningful decline, if not longer. Delicious old school Napa. Wish I coudl find more like this!

Wine Flock Champagne Gala (Park Ridge CC): A time capsule in the glass. This is delicious and so much better than the younger Insignia bottles from the late 90s/early 00s. Full of wet cedar, dried tobacco, cigar ash and oodles of bell pepper. Mature plum fruit. Nice long finish.

At first I thought this was a bust, but after 60 minutes, it really started to open up. Still, it needs to be drunk now if you have it.

Still drinking nicely. Good fruit and excellent nose. Decanted for about 30-40 min and it opened up nicely.

Still had nice life and modest tannin. Very enjoyable. Nice nose and smooth taste with a surprisingly long finish.
