  Very classic malbec, albeit without much oak or tannins. Starts with aroma of violets and deep inky color. Dark fruit, and then licorice and a touch of mineral, before finishing with a nice pepper burst. Very plush, a little much for my taste, and without a good acidic or tannic finish it's not so food friendly. But great to warm up to the meal.
  
  5/19/12 Similar characteristics, but even less balance. It's all fruit and candy, with very little finish. Lowering my overall rating from the previous 90 to 88.
