  The third of 4 bottles, the last consumed in 2012. This hasn't budged much in the 6 years since I last tried it. My note from March of 2012 pretty much describes today's experience. Pop and pour, consumed over 1 hour. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blackberry, licorice, eucalyptus, and earth. Palate: Medium-full bodied, dark fruit attack with a spice driven mid-palate lift, with earth and chocolate joining in the back end. Finish: Medium length showing spicy dark fruit and black dirt.

  Taunt, structured, high blackberry food-loving wine. Mineral tannins are complemented by rich fruits with deep cassis black currents and raspberry overtones.

  Drinking still nice at this stage. Still a good nose of dark fruits and menthol. A good full, body with a medium finish. I don't think it will get better. Probably should of drank a year or two earlier. Still a very pleasant wine to drink. Drink up.

  Drinking very nicely. Firm tannins at first. An hour or two in the decanter did wonders. Incredibly smooth the next day. Black fruit, cocoa.
