Popped and poured. Totally opaque. This is a massive, mouth-filling wine. Plenty of tannin but it’s silky, bordering on glycerin. Dark blue and black fruit, bittersweet chocolate and it lasts awhile. Yum.

Did a pnp. Noah's had notes of Cedar, Bramley Forest fruit and spices. It drank very smoothly with the same notes as a nose with an emphasis towards blueberry and blackberry savory nuances. The finish was long and lingering. Through the evening it became more approachable and kept evolving. Watch for a little bit of sediment.
Wish we had more!

Came off as too young to my palate, at least without a very long decant (we only nursed this for an hour or so). Chewy and dense, with notes of black fruit, forest floor and graphite (pencil lead). Jonata wines require (and merit) a lot of patience!

Definitely in the sweet spot of the drinking window. Really good like all Jonata wines. Particularly interesting given the varietal and price point!

Very surprised by this wine. Won't open another for a few years. Lots of old world stuff going on here with a nice, not over the top, sweetness to it.
