This is a very nice, light wine that can be enjoyed with either pasta or seafood. The nose was pleasant, very fruity, with a hint of raspberry. A good value.

Deep ruby color. At first sniff, it seems as though it will show the "dolce" in Dolcetto, with bright sweet fruit, but there is much more to it. Darker red/black fruit impression than the nose would suggest, brambly elements and herbs for complexity, and a sappy extra gear. Serious stuff with wonderful balance that makes it a pleasure now, but I could also see it lasting 3-5 years as well. Top notch Dolcetto.

Dark blueberry and candied raspberry fruit. Hint of tannin and banana. Definitely a cru Beaujolais drinker's Dolcetto. Med-high acidity. 85-86

Liked this a lot. Agreed the nose is a tad sweet but it is very well balanced and is a great pairing with lasagna, pizza, etc. Well done.
