Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Open in the bottle for about 2 hours. It’s a bit more round now but on the whole it really didn’t change much over that time. Nose is earthy with mushrooms and a (not offensive) farmyard characteristic with some almost overripe plum notes in the background. Palate is plum skin and black cherry cola with nice sappy tannins and a medium-to-short finish. Secondary notes are there; you can tell it’s a wine with some age, and I would say it is drinking well right now, but it also feels like it probably has at least five years left before it starts to decline.
