  • This has really toned down. Still incredibly tannic, it is not quite the odd duck that it once was. However, it is still quite nice, very well structured, and fairly bold. Went really well with the steak we had.

  • Singular Selections Tasting (Cook & Brown): 3/21/11: Funky, barnyard nose. This is George Clinton All-Stars Funky on the nose. Awesome stuff. Savory. There aren't any other Chianti's being imported into America like this. 91-92

10/26/10: Woah, that is some incredible aromatics on this wine. Very funky, with mint, barnyard, and animal thing. On the palate, which I got to after about a minute of smelling this, it's high acid, with the funkiness still there. This is a rustic Chianti that doesn't compare very much to anything available. I like it, though I'm not quite sure what to do with it. 90-91
