Cloudy green-tinged almost fluorescent kind of yellow. Beautiful leesy nose of candied lemon peel, peach and vanilla. On the palate this is quite big and concentrated, yet its acidic silver lining and considerable minerality provide lift, complexity and freshness. Mouthfilling mid-palate, zesty bitterness in the back, medium finish. Quite Burgundian indeed.

Golden yellow color and cloudy. Not much aroma, mostly mineral and marzipan. Pear, marzipan and mineral flavor with good acidity and a little spice in the finish. Creamy and unctuous texture. Still lively and juicy. Not a sipping wine for me. It needs food and was excellent this evening with shrimp roasted with feta, fennel and tomatoes.

In the bouquet yellow fruits as you can find in Rhone wines, but also a lot of minerality. On the palate yellow fruits again, but the (limestone) minerality rules. A bit fat as well. The wine did not really impress. The second day the minerality was only more up front. Not sure if this will ever be great. For the moment disappointing.

Green, full, rounding into itself. I gotta just sit down and drink one of these once.
