  Last bottle - popped and poured. On initial taste seems quite fruit forward - unlike previous tastings. With 30 minutes in glass reverts to a far more balanced wine. What I have always liked about this wine is a earthy, savoriness that along with good acidity balances the fruit. Nice weight in the mid palate and a long finish. Seems ready to drink now and don't think it will improve. Very enjoyable!

  Popped and poured this last night and it was delicious. I originally tasted this back in 2011 and I liked it but it has really improved. I found it to be elegant with a nice earthiness. There is cherry fruit but it is subtle which I prefer. I thought the earth and minerality were more pronounced and the finish was nice and long. I will revisit tonight after corking and placing back in the wine fridge last night. Drinking beautifully and I am very glad I have 3 more bottles on hand.

  This wine has achieved a better balance. Has nice weight and evolved into an elegant PN. The cherry fruit has subsided some and baking spices have come forward. Still possesses some tannins that are supple and help create a mouth coating lingering finish.
