Hard to rate this one. Bought it on a larf from WineBid because of the year. No signs of spoilage. Drank pretty nicely for about 30 minutes before it faded. Nice ruby color. Not much nose. Still a decent amount of tannin. A bit of sour apple hid nice sweetness and citrus, honey and plum. Amazing that a US Barbera that's 38 would still taste this good.
