  Tale of two cities here, nose is underrepresented, body has stewed red fruits, white spices, but the finish was short, disjointed, really was hard to enjoy solo.

  Unscrewed and poured. Herbal cherry aroma. Tart cherry/cranberry with minerals. Full. tart, cranberry flavored lingering finish. Deep, firm, nuanced flavors. Firm backbone. Burgundian style. A great food wine, as they say, but great with or without food.

  Surprinsingly Pinot Noir rather than Gamay.

  Both fruity (black cherry, cranberry) and serious, this continues to show greater depth with age. Light tannin, medium acidity. A reasonably-long sour cherry and black cherry finish. Yum.
