  Fantastic at 35+ years! Nose is like a forest in the fall—decaying leaves and maple syrup. Palate is earthy and complex with ripe blackberry, cigar box and fig leaf. I love this wine; if you can find it somewhere don’t pass it by.

  Tasted at Noreetuh in NYC. Nose is full of pencil shavings and concentrated blackberries with a hint of dead fall leaves. Palate is slatey with cigar box and lively acidity with a long earthy finish. Medium body but at this point the tannins have faded and it’s all acidity and minerality. Amazingly delicious. Pair with almost anything or drink by itself. Either way just drink it!
