Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Blind Tasting November 2020
    Deep tawny
Nose schows medium(+) Intensity dominated by tertiary aromas.
Some shoe polish, Blackcurrant, Plum, a lot of Plum puree, dried red berries figs, cloves, hints of Black truffles, some leather, forest floor and meat.
On the palate the wine is dry, shows a medium acidity, high amounts of ripe, fine grained tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, paired with pronounced tertiary aromas and very long refreshing finish.

The wine is of Very good to outstanding quality
The wine already shows quite a lot evolution and would not benefit from further aging.
