  This was delicious mature super tuscan. A beautiful nose with earth nuances gives away to a dark rich palate with a long smooth finish.

  50 Merlot 50 Sangiovese
  
  Deep, opaque ruby. Compact rim.
  
  Aromas of sun-dried tomato, plum, black pepper, red clay, toasted oak.
  
  The palate is soft and relatively well resolved. Relatively low acid. Creamy and round. Sweet red cherry, raspberry, dry prune. New leather, slight hint of tobacco leaf, graphite, and toasted new oak.
  
  This wine screams super Tuscan. Leaning modern style but nothing wrong with that as long as it hits the right balance. Because of the low acidic structure, drink this within the next 5 years. 90.
