  Super fine bead. Very nice apple on the nose. Tastes like an aged champagne. Not overly complex, but a lingering finish. A couple years left, but it will slowly lose freshness on nose and palate.

  Mid gold. High-toned nose, white flowers, orange, a touch of lime, mildly toasty. Lovely sweet marmalade taste, pretty good vintage intensity. Extraordinary value at this price. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Oddbins, on offer at £27].

  The wine is clear and light gold in colour with fine bubbles.
  The nose is clean with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruit (candied lemon), developed fruit (baked apple), bottle age (honey, nuts), yeast (biscuit). The wine is developing.
  The palate is dry with medium (+) acidity, medium (+) body, medium alcohol (12%), medium intensity flavours of lemon, baked apple, honey, nuts, biscuit. The finish is medium (+). The mouse is creamy.
  The wine is very good in quality. It has complexity from bottle ageing and reasonable intensity of flavours and finish. The acid balances the fruit. It is lacking however a bit of freshness and intensity to be outstanding.
  The wine should be drunk now and is not suitable for further ageing. It is lacking primary fruit for further development and feels like it is starting to fade. Drink in next 6-12 months.

  Light gold, fine bubbles. Nose is honeyed, a hint of clove, baked apple. The palate is soft, the mousse doesn't attack your mouth and the soft baked apple fruit and soft honeyed finish makes this a delightful wine to drink on its own or with food.

  Deeper color. The nose shows toasty nuts, cream, and flowers with hints of mineral. This is fairly concentrated on the palate, with good class.Medium plus length on the finish, with good mineral clarity.
