Fat Tuesday at the Haggis House: Who would have thought that a California Chardonnay would be my favorite white of the night. I liked this better than the Fevre Chablis. I thought had more going on and had better balance. Dry with a steely character. Anwar brought this and I think he said that it di undergo malolactic fermentation although no oak aging. Notes of crisp pear and white pepper. 91 points.

Very nice Chard from Wes Hagen. Pear, pear, pear. NIce crisp acidity and minerality. No oak profile. Nice with crab legs.
