  Upon PNP, was sceptical, but a hidden treasure emerged with air time time. Good balance between fruit and oak. Not a wine I would rush out to buy again, but it worked.

  Firm dark fruit aromatics with tobacco and cedar. Palate shows firm tannin, a bit of alcohol, dark fruit, tobacco box. Finish is somewhat hot & long (and was better next day). Decent effort. Agree that opening this in 2016 would be fun.

  Dark berries and green peppers on the nose. Nicely balanced with tart, dark cherries, touches of tobacco, tar and grilled herbs and even a little pine. Very dry with some real backbone I could see this improving going out 5 years. Would recommend.

  Drank over two nights. Dry and yet approachable but simple on first night. Second night more complex but way too alcoholic.
