Cassis and milk chocolate. Heavily oaked but without enough lift (acidity) or structure (tannins). Might improve slightly in the short term but not built for extended cellaring.

A tasty wine but is starting to fall a little bit flat, may be past its prime.

This reminds me of a well made Bordeaux. Maybe a touch too much oak, but great fruit to offset it. Excellent value. Drink now.

Good value. Toasted oak, vanilla, red currants and smoke. Reminds me a little bit of the Ramey Clarets of the 2000s.
