  Dark colour, dark fruits on the nose and palate. Black and red cherries swirling with a touch of plum. Tasty balanced wine with some complexity, good fruit yet still taut and linear acidity and a dry finish from the oak. Gevry tannins starting to meld but still present. Some secondary characteristics developing - tasty well made wine.

  Pale ruby, medium + intensity nose of black and red cherry, touch of pepper, some plumb and with a nice whiff of cooked fruit. Secondary note of cedar and tertiary petrol and Caramel. Is dry, medium acid, tanins still there at medium +. Medium alc and body. Overall well balanced and nice but not a long finish. This producer is a fav of mine - very reliable and seldom disappoints. Is a very wel made classic Burg, if not that complex. In burgundy terms was also decent value at its offering. Glad I got quite a few back when it was first offered.

  First time with this producer and vineyard and must say that I really liked this wine. Complex and edgy with good fruit and a strong backbone. Should age well but very enjoyable as a relatively young wine.

  Clear signs of leakage under the capsule, with ullage approx 1.5cm. Still very fresh red and black cherry aromas and flavors , very intense, concentrated and meaty. Picked up even more weight over the 2+ hours we drank the bottle.

  décidément ce vin que j'ai re-découvert m'a surpris, caractère très gevrey cependant qui tends vers les fruits noirs, douces notes de bois neuf, bouche massive, longue finale, c'est très réussi et je pense l'avoir mal jugé il y a un an.
