This wine definitely has a little life left in it, although after all this time, it still tastes a bit green. Pretty, dark purple. I decanted. First few sips showed that it still had tannins, with some simple tart berries, earth, and oak. As it opens, the oak and earth have subsided, but the fruit remains simple and in the background. Not a bad wine, but a bit disappointing.

Solid with nice fruit and all the greeness has faded away. The wine is mouthfilling with sweet dark berries and toasted coffee notes. I would drink now and over the next year. The only drawback is that the wine is a little simple and basic.

Very good at this stage ... I agree with some previous posts that this wine was a little green and light in its youth but it has really improved. Classic velvety Stag's Leap grip, a nice lightly jammy core of blackberry with nice coffee bean (cocoa) elements. Great to drink now.

Green pepper dominate. Wine had just been held a few years too long.

It wasn't as bad or as green as I feared it would be. It turned out to be OK.
