This was the in the sommelier series at Vino Volo. It's okay - not more that that. It's somehow off for a Malbec. Tannic but nothing else of note.

Tannic, slightly dry, but nice dark fruit flavors...paired well with spicy chops
Not rating it higher simply because nothing stood out. This is a fine malbec at a fine price, but not life-changing.

Yum yum yum for the Tum Tum Tum Loved this wine. Beautiful bouquet. Dark ripe fruit. Lovely tobacco. Dances on the tongue. Lovely finish! Buy again!

Little cream on the nose. Ripe red mountain fruit. Not bad.

Very nice. Dark fruits framed with smoke on the nose. Ripe plum, sweet berry, and cedar/wood flavors. Very good QPR @ $17USD. A real crowd pleaser.
I don't drink a lot of Malbec but after this and an '08 Bodega Norton Reserva the night before, I'm going to rethink this.
