  100% Malbec
  from single estate Remolinos Vineyard in Agrelo, Mendoza at 3500 ft
  with sandy clay loams over gravels with vines tended all by hand (amano).
  Manual harvest with cluster selection.
  2 Sorting Tables: clusters pre-destemming; berries post-destemming.
  10 days fermentation in small wide stainless steel tanks (gravisty fed).
  25-30 days total maceration.
  90% malolactic in French oak barrels (30% new) and aged 14 months.
  14.5% Abv.

  A(ccuray)=2: Deep opaque ruby. Ripe, intense varietal.
  B(alance)=2: Fruit forward with adequate acid and tannic structure.
  C(omplexity)=2: Plums, violet, tobacco.
  D(epth)=2: Focused mouthfeel. Full palate and finish.

  Dark plum notes, still smooth after this many years, nice Malbec for the price

Deep red color, fragrant and spicy nose, good red fruit. With some reluctance due to the food pairing,I considered this notable when considering quality, age, and price. I'll try again.

  One of the smoothest malbecs right out of the bottle I've ever tasted. Not as bold as some, but a very nice mouth feel and smooth, but full finish. Good depth without the "chew."
