  We had aged a magnum of this wine. When first opened, there was a bit of a funk on the nose. This blew off within several minutes. Initially, the wine was simple with the typical dried fruit notes you expect from a Zin. As it opened up over a couple of hours, the flavors improved and became more complex with earthy notes coming to the forefront.
  Overall, we enjoyed this wine very much…drink now though, I don't see it improving much longer!
