Past its prime (if, in fact, it ever had a prime). Nondescript nose. The taste: some generic raspberry, oak and vanilla, and a huge mess o' chalky tannins that will suck every last gram of moisture out of your tongue and cheeks.

This has smoothed nicely with the bit of bottle age. A fruit-forward blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet, it has a touch of acid and earth to counter balance the fruit. A really nice every day drink.

Decent wine...nothing too notable. Fairly light all around.
