Beautiful floral nose with a field of cut herbs. So pretty. Palate rich and dark fruited, med+ depth and length but rich and a little fat - for the vintage - but so lovely. Silky. Will age forever.

Double blind. Blech - this is green or somehow otherwise flawed. Someone somewhat called this Gevrey, and kudos, but this was undrinkable. I thought it was a 2011 something. Maybe a sign of the cooperage problems Bachelet was having in those years. We recorked this to avoid contaminating the air around us (joking....I think?).

This is just a flat-out excellent Burgundy. It is on the bigger, darker side of Burgundy. But it's impeccably balanced with beautiful, layered, mouth-filling dark-berry and brambly fruit and some sneaky minerality. Certainly bright enough to be drinkable. It's super delicious now but has decades of improvement ahead.

Juicy dark delicious, great fun and deep rich flavours that aren’t especially Pinot but are truly delicious. Iron black currant cassis rock. Great! Good from the first pour, opened somewhat over 2 hours but only a short decant required.

A bit green and herbal on opening. Some astringency on the palate. Got better with a few hours of air but somewhat disappointing showing.
