Ready to go. Ripe black cherry and smoked meat aromas. Richly fruited with nice balancing energy and a burst of spice. Gevrey-like, complete and great with food.

Wonderful bottle and still rather young. Rich ripe berry fruit, but not overly so despite a warmer vintage (I believe). Good acid balance. Long finish. Easy to drink now, but I think a couple more years will add to it.

Blue berries, toastiness, rustic spiciness, cumint nutmeg, some earthiness. Quite intense. Mid-plus body, mid-plus tannins-not so fine-grained, but pretty well integrated, weighty-lively acidity. Has density, structure in the mid-palate, finish is longer than medium. (p.s. right after opening it was much less convincing, with the fitting of the components felt rough and ready. Few days later the details became more smoothed over, could enjoy more the richness of the wine.)
