Consistent with other notes - some tropical fruit,, oak, and a little buttery, but definitely lacking crisp acidity that is needed, falls a bit flat and almost tastes "watery" at the end. Wasn't sure if it was the age, but seems other notes from several years ago are similar.

It was a little fruit forward with green tree fruit, full of oak with very little butter. it was mostly all oak as reached it's mid length finish. It was not completely balanced and was good, but not great.

As mentioned below, neither New nor Old World, and as a cross of the two, it falls disappointingly short. A wine with an identity crisis, it displayed crisp green apple notes, hints of minerality, and more rounded pineapple expression with substantial vanilla end notes. Disjointed and slightly out of balance. For the jump in price to the Miner Wild Yeast, I see a worthwhile jump in quality.

(Miner Family Chardonnay Napa Valley) Light golden color; rich, ripe pineapple, oak nose; oak, pineapple, ripe apple palate with low acidity; medium finish

Loads of sweet tropical fruits, citrus and an excessive amount of oak; A rich and buttery wine that needs more balancing acidity
