  Dark garnet/purple color. Nose: pomegranate, crushed blackberry, and black plum fruit with tar, grape candy, sage/lavender herbs, and a hint of orange peel. Medium/full body on the silky palate: pomegranate and black plum fruit with blackberry pie, orange peel, masala chai, lavender, and a little molasses. Medium acidity. Moderate/lighter tannins. Lingering blackberry skin, orange peel, and a hint of molasses on the long finish. Seductive, silky Zin. Relatively well balanced. Gorgeous fruit, good complexity, tremendous deliciousness factor. Drink now.

  One of my favorite Sonoma county wines. Love this bottling as it is light and bright yet well balanced and pairs with a versatile range of foods.
