I am working on updating inventory. This note is being written after the fact. This bottle was shared by J. Z. at a central jersey ct group off-line tasting held at Peking Duckhouse (midtown location). I cannot recall any other details. I have a vague recollection of the wine being slightly oxidized. Possible problem with provenance?

Really showing well right now -- I'm very very happy with the 1999s at this point...Very layered and complex on the palate..everything I look for in great Champange.

No detailed notes taken due to Dinner circumstances, but great yeast, citrus, mineral flavors on this one.

Pretty good but not as nice as I remembered. Nice biscuit to the nose but not a particularly good finish.
