  Medium garnet in color, sweet red fruit on nose. Deep red, black fruit of black raspberry, plum And bramble with smooth mature structure. Medium long finish. Lovely mature Zinfandel- the crowd pleaser to ignite!

  Pop and pour. Still nice fruit present (big fan of Black Sears, at the top of Howell Mt.). Well settled but not past a nice drinking window. Delicious, pushed my drink-by date to 2020 but likely have my last this year.

  Notwithstanding all the admonitions to drink this before now, the wine has aged well. Balanced fruit and acid, not overextracted. Sorry this is my last bottle.

  Lots of good stuff going on here. First the BIG Black Sears fruit shines. But the sweet, sticky, cloying agony that some Zins delivers is not here. Lighter bodied, which is very welcomed in this fine wine.
