Much like the last bottle, but this time we consumed it with smoked, stuffed quail and that combination brought out the fruit and made the wine seem more substantial. Another lovely wine from the boys at Selection Massale.

Still delicious, especially given a few nights. I did feel like its age is starting to show, so I likely won't wait long to drink what I have left. But some great secondary-fruit aromas and that killer minerality continue to impress.

Lightweight yet flavorful, with typical Gamay acidity. When I smelled the wine, however, it brought to mind Steve Edmunds's lovely Bone-Jolly wines, which is no faint praise but quite surprising for a French Gamay.

Wow. Cool climate gamay from a cool year and it shows it. The acid is screaming but the wine still feels quite integrated. Very, very pleasant to drink on its own terms, no surprise that it also sung with a Thanksgiving feast. A bit of a reclusive star on a table crowded with amazing Cru Beaujolais. This wine is officially interesting and without a doubt one of the best QPR wines I have ever encountered. A producer I will seek out again for sure. Stunning.

Another great bottle. And it really sang on day two. Need more.
