Bouquet of red cherries, mint, crushed stone, grappa. Quite sweet, yet grippy and fresh palate, relatively heavy balanced by minty, spicy elements. Finish of medium length. Is in a great drinking window yet feels like should hold for quite some years.

Bouquet of ripe strawberries, cherries, mint, flowers. Lush, silky palate, fantastic combination of spices, sweetness, acidity, leading to a long finish, slightly drying, with a tannic bite at the end. The tannic bite becomes less pronounced with some air. Great wine, slightly too forced to be even better.

Double decanted; slow O'd for five hours. Really spectacular: waves of cherry on top of the expected tar and roses. Terrific Barolo.

The blueprint of a perfect Barolo at the very beginning of its peak

Dark and rich, a big wine.
More fruit and depth than the Fiasc 07.
