  Glad I waited. Brunellos need time. A bit of brown on the edges. Multilayer fruit on nose and initially on the palate. Smooth earthy finish. Loved it!

  Decanted for 30 minutes, but it took a bit longer to completely open. A nice shade of purple, with a fade to the rim. The aromas were of dark red fruit and earth. The medium bodied palate showed the same dark red fruits and earth, along with a streak of cherry, and a touch of spice. The acidity is nicely juicy, and the tannins are well integrated.
  Competent Brunello for ~$40 that should hold for a couple more years.
