55F since acquiring at release - a menthol freshness remains lending a fresher prism to decaying red fruit atop a coniferous forest floor. A showing that bestows prideful light on the new world.

Brighter than expected slightly clouded ruby, open nose of red fruits and tea, lively palate with spicy tannins and tart acidity, gonna finish my remaining bottles off in the nearer term as I'm getting less magic from each bottle recently

Ditto from previous note; this is complete juice in my book — beguiling multifaceted aromatic profile with ample acidity to bring those aromas into focus on the palate and enough tannic structure to suspend it for a while. Took a couple points from prior bottle on account of the cork which crumbled when pulled allowed a little more oxidative influence in this bottle compared with the magical bottle a few months ago.

cloudy opaque red ruby, clean aromas of red fruits and spice, explodes on the palate w/ a panoply of spiced plums, sour cherries, rhubarb, even cinnamon apples; everything held in tight focus by crisp acidity. Monumental wine demonstrating what is attainable in the new world when traditional views on grape ripeness are observed.
