  Deep golden yellow. Sweet, but not overly so, orchard fruit. Complex and creamy mouthful. Lovely acid backbone. This was fabulous as an apéritif with spicy Sicilian olives, and then meted out in small pours over the next few nights, accompanying other spicy bits. We wish we had more.

  On the nose honey, bit of banana, apricote, maybe even some pineapple. Little bit of petro but that blew off. Very good but not a killer. Lacking some acidity to provide that extra punch.

  Very nice flavor depth and very easy to drink and enjoy. Packed with sweet honey and floral notes. Perhaps lacks a little acidity but overall a solid performance.

  Screw top. Lemon-yellow color; highly aromatic nose with petrol, minerals, slate, lots of peach and white fruit, lemon-lime; palate is light bodied, high acid, balanced sweetness, minerals, nice complexity but a bit short towards the finish; short-medium length finish. Young but immensely pleasurable, more spatlese than auslese, excellent acidity, excellent aromatics and complexity. I'm not sure how this will develop, but it's great now. 91
