  • Oh dear, what a stunning difference of palates! Serve very chilled! Dru, I feel so terrible to have disappointed in my recommendation; I owe you a bottle...although I can't help but wonder if our palates may have a tough time reconciling a New World vs Old World leaning. I had read the notes below (especially the sink evisceration) and was terrified I was missing something in my in-store tasting: decided to check in on my last half bottle. I LOVE this wine; find it refreshing as can be, and cherish its mineral, greenish, floral nose--the floral minerality on the nose almost reminds me of styrofoam at times, but in an alluring way...love its allusions to an apricot and unripe white peach on the palate. It's everything I love about Austrian Gruner! I could drink boatloads. It almost makes me hearken back upon the 08 Chidaine Tuffeaux in the palate's fruity, mineral-suffused finish.

  • Bouquet: lacks acids, sweet corn, and mild oak. Palate: very fleeting, tart bubbly mid, surprisingly sweet.

  • Green and fat, soap-like.
It has some redeeming acidity, but that is not enough to keep, poured out the rest of the bottle.
