A bit muted on the nose, not giving anything away at this young age. It has a slightly green feeling but with air more cassis starts to develop. On the palate very firm and young tannin, with dark fruits, but also numb for now. Let this one rest for at least 3-5 years IMHO.

Deep bouquet with creamy red and dark berries, cassis, juice and green herbs. On the palate beautiful dark en red berries, creamy again, good juice with good acidity and round but firm tannin. Can easily last another 7+ years.

I was in the mood for a young wine, and saw this 2010 vintage popping out. Decanted ( slow O2 ) for period of four hours and consumed over about 3 hrs after that.
Initially I was excited about what I smelled and tasted in my first glass, but that enthusiasm faded. After two hours in tasting it just fell flat on its ass, something a wine of this vintage and house shouldn't do. Shame .... makes me wonder what the other two bottles might give me .... save or sell .... ?

The finest of Bordeaux (Ivy Bottle Shop, Sydney): Chocolate, plums, slight red berry, dusty notes and a little spice. Rich, broad, structured, medium plus length. Tannins are soft and very slightly gritty black and red berry hued fruit and a bit of warm spice on the finish. Pleasant enough

Solid Pomerol from a good year. In the drinking window now with a couple hours of air, and can easily last 5+ years in the cellar.
