Very pale salmon color. From 375ml. Nose of strawberry and cream with some minerality. The palate is on the light side as are the strawberry and mineral flavors. Finish lacks some zip. I expected a bit more. This appears to be fading.

Salmon bordering on copper. A subtle nose for a rosé - much less exuberant than the Cabernet d'Anjou and most Greek rosés. Again less fruity nose than the Cabernet d'Anjou, more floral, dried roses, melons, slight watermelon peel, pink grapefruit with a slight mineral edge. Savoury on the palate as well with more minerals than the nose would suggest. Medium acidity, light fruit and medium finish. Expected more but still very good.

Consistent with prior reviews - Very light salmon with copper hue. On the nose melon and minerals aromas. On the palate light-bodied and dry with citrus, not quite ripe melon, and minerals flavors. Medium finish.

A bit less exuberant than other bottles enjoyed last summer, but still a high quality, satisfying rose that can stand on its own or complement any variety of appetizers on a warm afternoon. I've yet to pop any 2011, but won't dawdle any longer.
